Hailing from the home of the famous Motown Records, the Motor City, and currently residing in New York, this Indie Music Super Star, dubbed the ‘Princess of Soul,’ Ms. Irene Renee has been compared to some of the greatest 20th century musical talents that we’ve come to love and cherish such as our beloved Jill Scott, Anita Baker, Erykah Badu, Tony Braxton, India Arie and yes, Phyllis Hyman. The richness and soulfulness of her voice captivates and it matches every lyric that she has ever penned. With such a commanding voice, doors have opened for her to share the stage with artists such as Cissy Houston, Conya Doss, Atlantic Starr, Alyson Williams, Me’Lisa Morgan, Ladies of Skyy, Black Ivory, Blue Magic, Jeff Red, Love & Hip Hop’s Amina Buddafly and Grandmaster Flash to name a few. She has also garnered the support of legendary New York DJ’s & radio personalities such as: DJ Red Alert, DJ Reggie Wells, WBLS’s Eddie Love, Jeff Foxx and Dr. Bob Lee. Ms. Irene Renee released her debut album, Serendipitous Experience in September 2013 which rose to the top 10 of the U.K. Soul Charts. She also won in two consecutive years (2015 and 2016) the Best Female R&B/Neo-Soul Singer awards for the Lady Flava Radio Network. The next project, her sophomore album, is highly anticipated, which is on track for release in June 2017 entitled Ubiquitous Soul. One of her most notable achievements since releasing her debut album was being invited to be the featured soloist of rapper and businessman, 50 Cents, for his SMS Promotions – Big Apple Boxing match. She rendered her soulful rendition of our National Anthem and thoroughly impressed the crowd, especially actress Rosie Perez who was in attendance that night and made it a point to express her enthusiasm to her about her soulful sound.

Ms. Irene Renee has produced and released 5 music videos for her singles: Feelin’ Good (you-tube), Pick Up The Phone (you-tube), Smooth Step (you-tube & www.Footprint.tv) and two new singles from her upcoming project: I Forgive U and NJNP (No Justice No Peace).  Collectively these videos have garnered tens of thousands of views, pretty impressive for an independent artist.  She continues to be sought out for performances and interviews around the world.
